Liz Alleva is a leading voice in childbirth education, dedicated to empowering women to embrace birth as a transformative and joyful experience. With over a decade of expertise, she has guided countless women through one of life’s most profound moments, offering a holistic approach that blends mental strength, relaxation, and the deep connection between mind and body.
With a dance and arts background, Liz has an exceptional understanding of the body’s innate capabilities. She seamlessly integrates this knowledge into her teaching, helping women tap into their natural rhythm and trust in the birth process.
Her journey into this work began after the birth of her son, Mason, when she witnessed firsthand the power of a calm, confident, and informed birth experience. This realization fueled her passion to help other women overcome fear and anxiety, equipping them with practical tools to approach birth with confidence, ease, and empowerment.
Liz holds a BA in Dance, a BA in Sociology from Wesleyan University, and an MA in Dance Education from New York University. She is a certified HypnoBirthing International Childbirth Educator. She offers in-person and virtual sessions from her serene woodland home in Wilton, Connecticut—a nurturing space where women can prepare for birth with peace and confidence.
Her mission? To ensure that every woman steps into motherhood feeling strong, supported, and ready to welcome her baby with joy!

Liz was amazing! I had so much fear from my previous birth. After working with Liz, I was at the hospital for under two hours when the baby came.
