Welcome 🙂 My name is Sonja and I’m a Certified Birth Doula (DONA), HypnoBirthing® Educator, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC®), and Pathway 3 mentee working toward the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential. I’ve been deeply involved in reproductive advocacy for many years and have attended numerous trainings, workshops, and conferences in reproductive care, including a one-year study program in physiological birth. Softly Circle Perinatal encompasses my praxis of embodied, relational support throughout the perinatal continuum.

Sonja has a warm and inviting presence that is only matched with her knowledge of the birthing process. Her way of holding space for the group helped me and my partner get in touch with what fears and concerns show up as we are going through out 3rd pregnancy journey and with acknowledging those concerns, were reassured. The hypnobirthing scripts paired with her soothing voice will be tools I know we’ll use when our birthing day comes. I have so much appreciation for Sonja and how she conducted the class!
